Uncle Todd came to visit a few weeks ago and we saw the sights in Dallas over the weekend. One exciting event was the Texas State Fair which James still talks about when he's playing with his animal figurines. He likes to put a couple of puppies into a truck and say, "they're going to the county fair."
Everyone was excited about the kiddie rides and being an over protective mother I finally agreed to a slow train that traveled in a simple circle but I warned everyone that he wouldn't like it. Of course I was wrong. He was a little apprehensive at first...
...but he was soon having a great time!
The next couple of rides he wasn't too thrilled about but I think he'll have a great time next year. These cars whipped around too fast but it looked like Clay had a great time. Note the "how could you" expression James is giving me.
And on this ride we actually had to have a carnie pull him out of his boat about 20 feet past this photo. Poor Dad wasn't allowed to ride by his side on this one.
Look at these big kids! Clay, Noelle & Todd ride an old favorite--can you find them?
On Sunday night we went to Keller's drive-in and even got Granny to come along and stay out after dark with all of the long haired men on loud motorcycles.
Who knows what James was doing here but he got everyone laughing...
Come back soon Todd! (and bring that wife of yours too)
Back at home Ana makes a pretty sweet goalie.
And back to sleep again...night night Ana.
Love these pictures, she looks like she has potential as a goalie when she is older
