James loves to start his morning reading the newspaper with Dada
James has been dropping hints that he is done with his high chair. Some of his hints have included screaming, kicking and frequent use of the word "no." We realized that he wants to be a big boy and sit at the table like Dada and Dada (we're still trying to explain that my name is Mama) and use a fork.
He tried and tried...
...but using a fork is extremely difficult and he considered this a good compromise.
James got to decorate his own "punkin"! And himself, and the floor.....

Here are James and Jonah on Monday morning enjoying a lovely breakfast together. Jonah was rushed over to our house at 7:30am so his baby brother, Manuel, could go to the hospital and be born at 8:43am! Gabe & Laura arrived at the hospital a whole 43 minutes before their baby was born! This was really an exciting day. I'm sure we'll have some pictures of Manuel once he feels like getting out to play.
