We had a going-away party this week for our dear friends, Rob & Janet Mezger. The Swishers are also leaving us soon-- I guess they all felt the need to pose together so we could all feel extra sad just in case we didn't already get it.
The above photo is what the Gaspards looked like at the party and below is when we discovered that James really likes the guitar...when it is playing music.
James has really been practicing his balance and he can transfer himself around the house to chairs and couches if he works up the courage.
Mom & Dad disagree on how much television is ok for an infant. The one who thinks an hour a day is just fine also likes to give him sips of coca-cola for a "new experience."
Wow, look at that education just seeping in.
Then we had a picnic in the backyard with Miss Josephine and Isaac. We even got the baby tent out--maybe this summer we can take it to the beach. It has been great to get outside and it's been a beautiful week so far!

You know, I thought James looked just like Clay and Jim, but after seeing him glued to the TV I can see he really resembles his Pop Poley!
