This year we took the traditional summer trip to Marble Falls, TX with our good friends the Cullums. We missed Todd, Sedona, Christian & Becky so maybe these pictures can catch them up on the fun.
Here we are lowering the boat. You can see that this is a noisy job.

Then it was time to float near the dock.
Hey look, a picture of my worst fear. I know that Aunt Noelle & Aunt Julianne will always take good care of James but this "lake" is the Grand Canyon that was filled with water. James was actually quite comfortable in the water and I learned to loosen up a little... by drinking my way through the day.
Don't worry James, I will rescue you! Just let me first pull myself up onto this enormous raft with my multiple noodles and over-sized life jacket.

After leaving the lake house in Marble Falls Jim & Dinah treated us to a night at a hotel resort near Austin that is owned by Jim's company. There were beautiful pools with a water slide, fancy dining and a spa! All of us girls were sent to the spa and it was wonderful! Thank you Jim & Dinah!
We could see each others rooms from the balcony. It was too convenient to send the kids down the hall to Gigi & Papa.

Thanks, Katie, for all the great pics and the entertaining comments. It is always fun to be with family and friends. Those are the cutest grandchildren! Jim and I are blessed!
